Professional Behavior
All participants are expected to:
• Treat others with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
• Engage in open discussion without personal attacks or harassment
• Honor diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches within the field
• Communicate thoughtfully, even in disagreement
Disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Harassment-Free Environment
Hypno LA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
• Intimidation, discrimination, or exclusion
• Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
• Derogatory comments related to gender, identity, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, age, or background
• Inappropriate physical contact
Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

Ethical Use of Hypnosis
• Hypnosis demonstrations, exercises, or experiential components must always be voluntary.
• No participant may be pressured, coerced, or manipulated into participation.
• Presenters are responsible for maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries at all times.
• Hypnosis must never be used to exploit, embarrass, or distress participants.

• Personal boundaries must be respected at all times.
• Consent is required for physical contact, demonstrations, recordings, or participation in experiential exercises.
• Participants are free to opt out of any activity without explanation or consequence.

Confidentiality
• Personal stories shared during sessions, workshops, or conversations are to be treated with discretion and respect.
• Recording or photographing sessions or individuals requires prior consent from all parties involved.
• Private conversations should remain private unless explicit permission is given.

Vendor & Promotional Conduct
• Vendors and presenters must engage respectfully with attendees.
• Aggressive sales tactics, pressure, or misrepresentation of services are not permitted.
• All promotional activity must remain within designated areas and agreed guidelines.

Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please notify Hypno LA staff or organizers promptly.
All reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion.

Consequences
Hypno LA reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations, including:
• Verbal warnings
• Removal from a session or event
• Revocation of conference credentials
• Removal from the event without refund
Decisions will be made in the best interest of participant safety and event integrity.
