Making an Application That Stands Out

Successful presentations will:
Make submission relevant to practicing hypnotherapists and change-workers
- Topics may include clinical skills, session structure, inductions, therapeutic approaches, nervous system work, identity change, leadership, ethics, business skills, or professional development.
Offer practical, actionable takeaways
- Presentations should clearly demonstrate how techniques are applied and have where possible space to practice, not just explaining what they are.
Emphasize experiential learning
- Workshops and lectures that include demonstrations, guided experiences and participant practice are strongly encouraged.
Align with Hypno LA values
- We welcome scientific, experiential, evidence-based, and practice-informed approaches, provided they are responsible, ethical, and clearly framed.
Deliver value without sales-driven content
- If you present a framework, model, or technique, it must stand alone as useful without requiring further paid training.
Maintain professional credibility
- Presentations must avoid unsubstantiated claims or topics that may bring the field into disrepute. Content must remain within the scope of your training and qualifications.
